Abundance - Having a Money Tree
74
If we all had a Money Tree....
.
The word “debt” wouldn’t be found in dictionaries.
No loan sharks or Credit card companies.
People would be more happier and healthy.
There’d be less stress and less worry.
✰♡*
Everyone would be equal – no rich, no poor.
No homeless people sleeping outside on the floor.
Parents would not give their kids away to be used as slaves.
They’d have good education and enjoy their childhood days.
.
If we all had a money Tree....
.
People would marry for True love – which really counts,
Not for the size of their spouses bank accounts.
We’d spend quality time with family, not working every hour,
Till relationships begin to go sour.
✰♡*
Cancer drugs would be affordable.
Expensive Surgeries would be possible.
No one left isolated in a “sick chair”
People not dying because they can’t afford Health Care.
✰♡*
People wouldn’t suffer – Some Presidents will not be greedy,
Transferring funds to fat bank accounts outside the country.
The rich no longer getting richer
and the poor no longer getting poorer.
If we all had a money Tree....
.
More smiles would be genuine
Not from a heart of ruin,
with hands that have committed murders.
Hands that rob the innocent – Muggers!
✰♡*
There’d be so much love in the world and no Toil,
No countries fighting because of Oil.
If we all had a Money Tree
Think of how wonderful the world would be.
But this is just a dream..............

With a money tree the way to equal minority, thanks for a look at money's tree of life Lady_E;)
Lady, Are you saying you don't have one? Walmart for $19.99. Seriously, nice job. H
Lady E, Interesting!!! What if we all really did have money trees… Hmmm… Then we could truly encourage pursing God’s wisdom in building better relationships… So like you to have such thoughtful ideas!
Let me know if your tree from Walmart comes fully grown lol!
Very good thought provoking hub! Thank you for sharing, In HIS Love, Joy, Peace & Blessings!
Elena, thanks for an insightful look at how money affects us. I responded to this quite emotionally for a number of reasons. First, I am less secure financially than I was five years ago, and it has caused me some stress and worry. Second, I see how money influences--well--everything. Including for some folks, how long they live.
I think back to 1991, when Earvin "Magic" Johnson played for the Los Angeles Lakers until he was diagnosed with the HIV virus. Everyone believed he would be dead in five years, as was the case with most men and women who carried the virus. Things were slightly different for Magic, however. He was an athlete and in top condition--and he was wealthy. No treatment was beyond his means, and nearly 20 years later, Magic is alive and well. It has been said there is no trace of the HIV virus in his body. It never advanced into AIDS.
I certainly do not begrudge Magic Johnson his health or his life! I am saddened, however, for all the men and women who died of AIDS because they could not afford the same care. Should being poor be a death sentence?
Beyond that, I am offended at how money provides opportunity that others do not have. I am saddened by those who believe wealth is simply a matter of "pulling yourself up by your boot straps" and getting busy. I am also saddened by those who find wealth a reason to exploit others.
I am sad for those who cannot conform to society sufficiently to make a place for themselves. I am saddened for those who resort to crime to meet their needs, and I am saddened for the victims of those crimes.
I share your dream of a world devoid of the problems money causes--it is a good one.
Mike
(And I apologize for the overly long and perhaps unnecessary response on my part. I have voted this up and beautiful.
Hey, you have the best idea I ever heard of. Can you send me one?
Money tree? Great idea!
Mike's comment, combined with the poem above, made me think about an incident.
In the middle of Africa, I attented a court hearing case. The accused was on trail for stealing a chicken.
His defense was being hungry. The best was, when asked his profession , he responded with dead serious honesty :"Thief"
Money trees will certainly help rid us of those professionals!
I want one please !Great idea. W e could be like Johnny Apple Seed and plant the money trees all over the world.
Cheers
Hello LadyE This is a beautiful fantasy in poetry, while the photos reveal an in-your-face ugly truth. Saddest of all, there are children involved.
Your dream is a worthy, lovely one, Lady_E. I hope it will one day come true.
I love this hub! I actually made a "money tree" for my daughter for a past birthday. Of course the money didn't bloom again, but it was fun while it lasted.
The photos fit perfectly. Touching thoughts.
Such a good hub about the money tree-but the pictures of the girls upset me.
Lady E, let's find some land and plant an orchard. Beautiful thoughts... I think I read somewhere 10% of the world's population holds 90% of the wealth. It's not fair! Ciao.
A wonderful dream, Lady_E. It got me to thinking (as you always do); wouldn't it be the same thing if everyone just agreed to give away what they do? If we all gave what we do or produce to any in need of it, and every one else gave to meet our need, would that not be the same as everyone having an endless supply of "money".
Oh, no, wait... that would be Socialism, and humans have never been able to impliment that properly. Ants do a great job of it, but humans... not so much.
Oh well, it's a beautiful dream just the same. Thanks for sharing!
Man how I have searched for thee, ye olde Money tree. The only problem with a world where money grew on trees would be that none of the things money can buy would probably be available. There'd be no reason, no rhyme, no incentive to go out and become that doctor who would provide health care. There'd be no reason for college and knowledge to advance one's course in life. Money may be a difficult thing to achieve, and most certainly it is something in which there is no real balance. The tables are turned in favor of certain people, and against others.
But the challenge? I think it may have much more value than a tree that had money for leaves.
That all said, love the hub. Love the poem.
Hi! I Love your poem....
Sent you a message yesterday on myebook...

Great hub, I for one need to sign up for a tree
Nice hub. Heaven on earth.
Great dream
Elena, this is a wonderful hub .. it sounds funny but has the punch packed in!! The recession has already made us more aware of the value of money!!
My daughter was very sick hence was away for sometime!!
Best Wishes and Cheers!!
"But this is just a dream.............."
I'd like to be in your dream:)
As a landscaper I've planted many trees. Trees do make a lot of money, but you have to be in this business:)
There is however a money tree (Pachira Aquatica - bonsai form). It suppose to give wealth and fortune. Maybe it helps.(they sell it on amazon)
We have this plant also in Surinam, but it is always sick:( because it is not native.
Thanks for the share Lady_E, I think you're great.
Money tree may never grow in our garden, but a little compassion and less selfishness will do just as much for many people in need.
Lady_E AWESOME writing ebb and flow sister. I think we would all love that money tree, hey?? It is the love of money that keeps many a slave. God first then the rest will come.John 10:10 'He came so we could have life and have it more abundantly'
This Scripture that our brother matt6v33 favors 'Seek FIRST the kingdom of God then these things will be added unto you'
The kids in the cage remind me to work harder for my vision. I pray for enough money to help many get away from the sex slave evil doers. God help the little ones. It costs about $350 to pull a child to safety. Greed and evil, all for money, they use little children. It brings tears to my eyes. Money is not the answer it makes me sad. I would love to try having allot but It would have to help others or it would mean nothing. Thats my story I am sticking to it. tee he. I love you.
Yes green is good, got extra send my way (kidding, NOT) I Love YOU
When the rich people try to plant the money tree, but others people still suffering out there. You share the fact .Good work, my friend. Vote Up.

Wonderful hub. God Bless You
Wonderful Outlook! My funda is very simple when it comes to money. I believe in having realistic desires and put genuine efforts to achieve what you desire and spend only money you have and never borrow.
I have to say I am with Mike Lickteig, there is not much more for me to add other than life would be a form of Utopia for all of us, so much so that people probably couldn't handle life because of the abundance.
The saying goes "Money is the root of all evil" I beg to differ. Evil people will continue to do evil things no matter how much money we give them. Money in the right hands is a godsend and necessary blessing and helps them live longer with dignity, joy, love, peace, less stess and living longer.
Love this hub...I rate it a BIG UP
Love the poetry!! Of course, we would all have to have our own money tree for it to 'really work,' as you stated. Mike's words were heart-touching and Saddlerider spoke quite well of 'evil people.' But then again, we can dream, can't we?!! Voted/rated.
