I love seeing elderly couples together
Sitting in a park, when there is nice weather.
Smiling and holding each others hand
Or just on a beach, walking on sand.

Their love for each other is the utmost
Celebrating anniversaries – each year a new Toast.
Been through the Good, the Bad and the Ugly
But they got through it all, staying strong for the family.

Sadly such love is hard to find these days
After months of marrying, couples go separate ways.
While the wife takes the man to the Cleaners
The poor man struggles with so many arrears.

.... and so to my readers, I pray you find such love
Pure and peaceful, that’s sent from above.
It’s something you can’t afford to be missing
Having “Decades of love” is truly a blessing.

Oh my, Lady, what a marvelous and inspiring poem! The photos are wonderful and my favorite is the last one. I have always been touched by the outward display of love, especially by older couples. It just gives me chills.
