Happy Moments we should Praise God
As we do we’ll receive more Blessings from Him. God always honours those who Honour Him.

Difficult moments we should seek God
He alone can make a way, where there seems to be no way and He will give us direction. He will give us wisdom on how to deal with it or He could send a helper our way. Sometimes, the answers to our problems are nearby, we just need our eyes open to see it.

Quiet Moments we should Worship God
Still before Him, we will feel His presence and can hear that still voice. Nature is good as well. Being still watching the sunset or strolling along a beach, sitting in a park. These quiet moments can get us in tune in the Spirit.

Painful Moments we must Trust God
It’s tempting to say “God, why me?” but we must trust that He is with us and is working things out, though on the outside it may seem like our world is crumbling down and there is no hope. He always shows up and in many cases, those Trials turn into stepping stones to Blessings.

Every moment we should thank God
No matter the bad situation it could have been worse. Whatever you may be passing through now, there is someone who is passing through something worse. Some have food but can’t eat and have to be fed through tubes. Some wake up but can’t move, a nurse has to help them get up. Some have kids and have those kids taken away (by Social Care system) who put them in Foster Care. For some, a family member has been abducted and till today, they have still not been found. I'm sure we all have something to be grateful for, no matter our religion.

So, why does bad happen to good people?
There may be a few who ask, if God loves so much why are people suffering. It’s because in this world there are also Evil Principalities that lurk about, and sometimes possess people.
- Why would a man wake up in the morning and go on a shooting rampage, killing the innocent?
- Why would someone indecently assault a baby girl who is a few months old or a little girl?
- Why would a woman kill her own Toddler?
Obviously, something possessed them. Some don't even know they are possessed. They look back and say: "I don't know why I did it" or "something told me to", "something came over me"... There is a lot more to why bad things happen to the innocent but as this Hub is not about that I won't dwell on it.
So, Abide in the light, ask for Protection and God will keep you and your family safe. God is Love.

All I can think is the Scripture that says, "Everything that has breath, praise the lord." We may think it is not easy to praise Him, especially when times are difficult, but when reading this I thought we can say that when we seek Him, we praise Him; when we worship HIm, we praise Him; when we trust Him; we praise Him and when we thank Him; we praise Him. Praise is so much more than happy rejoicing..sometimes it is merely trusting him in difficult times..your hub is beautiful. thanks

Elena, this was very beautiful. When we look at our lives and see difficulties, we need to take a step back and remind ourselves that we are taken care of. I sometimes get lost in feeling sorry for myself, but I am always able to look outside myself and realize I am cared for by God. Thanks for offering us such beautiful thoughts.

In stillness there is God, often I have been carried and felt the presence of God. Keep the faith only God knows, gives and takes away. Peace is in knowing God and understanding. Elena-Perhaps the most important prayers in my life are those expressing joy and gratitude. I think at times it is easy to forget to thank God for the wonders of His world, focusing instead on prayers for relief.

Another brilliant hub.You said it well that some of us really don't know that they are possessed by evil power that find its expression in humans in the form of negative and destructive attitude towards life forces.I always feel there is some kind of invisible war of forces going on in our mind and that forces coming from two independent sources to us.You are already blessed :)

I do believe that when someone kill thier loves one is actually being possessed by the Evil, and later when they are asked why they did that, they just wonder why they did something horrible; and yes whether in good times or in the bad times, we are never alone because He will always with us; just trust in Him and we will live life with no worries.

According to Christian teaching God is all-powerful, all-knowing and always present. That means He's in charge of the Evil Principalities. If He isn't, then He isn't all-powerful. If He isn't in charge of the suffering we experience, then He isn't all-powerful. The greater your power, the greater your responsibility, and He has total power. What kind of God is this?

This is a beautiful hub, thanks so much for sharing this. I liked where you had an answer to why bad things happen to good people - some don't understand there is an enemy we have to contend with and he comes to kill, steal and destroy.
Lady_E, your hub is great. Your words from beginning to the end are correct. We have to thank God whatever situation that we are in. And let's know that life is test so if something bad happens to a nice person that does not mean that God hates him/her, it is just test. Thanks for your nice thought that I can say it is based on fundamentals of every religion.

I'm assuming your answer is "Yes". So, it's up to us to shut the enemy out by prayer. One can't walk in the middle of a Motorway, saying "God loves me" and not get run over.
