Review of the Movie: Obsessed ~ featuring Beyonce

Obsessed is a Romantic Thriller, similar to the movie: “Fatal Attraction” but better.

A lovely Couple (Beyonce Knowles and Idris Elba) who plays Sharon and Derek move into a beautiful house with their son. Beyonce (brilliant Actress, considering she is a singer) is a “stay at home mum” and her devoted hubby has a nice Executive Job. Then there is the Seducing Temp, Lisa who knew what she wanted, the minute she laid eyes on Derek in a lift and couldn’t care less if he was married.

He resisted all her extreme advances. However, he got very angry with her antiques, while they were at a Work Conference, which was held in a Hotel. She retaliated by slipping into his room, while he was in a meeting - stayed in his bed naked and took an overdose of tablets. You can imagine his reaction when he returned to his room and the look on his colleagues face, as he followed her to the hospital, when he called Emergency Services.

I felt sorry for him when his wife turned up at the hospital, thinking something was wrong with him and heard the Detective ask him what the Temp (Lisa) was doing in his bed, with no clothes on. His wife (Beyonce) looked like “Thunder” obviously assuming the worst. There is a lot more action, but you will have to watch it to see what happens and how it concludes. The movie shows the type of strong temptations that some men face from women. It makes you wonder if every man can resist it...
