Why the Big Breasts?
By Lady_E
Why the Big Breasts?
The answer to the question – The Breasts are big because they have had something similar to a Boob Job, which involves injecting fresh chicken with up to 15% salt water, endangering the health of consumers, but making money for the companies.
This is a short article about Food Fraud in the UK. I watched a Documentary this week about it. We need to be on our guard and mind where we buy our food, as there is a lot of food scam going on.
A few Facts
- Businesses are selling normal fruit and vegetable as Organic to customers.
- Counterfeit Parmesan cheese is being sold.
- Bad / Rotten eggs are being used to make biscuits. All shown on TV, with the use of a secret camera.
- Chickens used in Take Away Restaurants and some supermarkets are injected with water to inflate them. It’s then held together (coated) with Protein Powder, however, people are not aware that other animals are being used in the Protein Powder. It’s been found out that this powder actually contains beef and pork, which is upsetting to muslims. (as eating pork is against their religion) Muslims eat chicken, but have now found out that they have unknowingly been eating Pork.
- In the UK, Forensics are now being used to catch the Fraudsters so they stop messing with food. A Director was procesuted for Organic Food Scam recently. For over five years, he supplied food products by Home delivery and passed them off as organic – even though they weren’t. He has now been jailed. Newspaper Article.
If you are worried about Supermarkets. Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrison aand Tesco carry out regular Food audits and visit their suppliers. They also employ independent labs to test if the food is authentic.
How to spot Organic Food Fraud
Look out for a label that certifies they are Certified Organic Producers.
If you spot Food Fraud
Contact the FSA (Food Standards Agency) and they will carry out an investigation.
Mind what you eat - Mind the Big Breasts!

Wow...I had no idea....the article is a disturbing as the chicken booby pic! Thanks for the info! :)
Excellent information. I am going to see if anyone is checking for this in the US; I doubt if they are.
Thanks for such vital info Lady_E!
God Bless!:)
Thanks Lady_E for alerting us to this disturbing problem.
"Normal" food is being passed off as "organic"? How odd. Isn't organic supposed to be normal?
Thank you for bringing this up, Lady_E. Our FDA is much more stringent here. Companies are always finding new ways to save money at the expense of the consumers. You are what you eat, right?
Great article concerning an issue that needed to be exposed. How distressing to think that someone is willing to jeopardize another’s health for PROFIT…
“There is something perverse about more tha
n enough. When we have more, it is never enough. It is always somewhere out there, just out of reach. The more we acquire, the more elusive enough becomes.”~~Unknown
Thanks for your comments everyone. Much appreciated.
I like the way you put it Nancy - "Jeopardizing another's health for Profit". Thank goodness, more people are becoming aware of the scam.
Cheers. :)
Anyway I like chicken.
Na wao! I was made to believe long ago that Africa is the land where the bad things happen. I now know better. The fight for poisonous foods should be extended to the so called developed countries. Thanks for the enlightenment. Lady_E, do women with extra large breasts take similar injections too or what.
Thanks June. I know you like chicken. lol. I've been reading your Hub Recipe's on chinese food. :)
Yes, Na wa! No be Just Africa. lol. On a serious note, these days, whatever Country you reside in - you have to be careful about what you eat. Cheers. :)
so this is not a solitary case in the Philippines. some businessmen really don't care so beware.
Hi Bingskee,
I hope your Country has a law against it.
They are playing with people's lives.
Best Wishes, E.
Good article, the title had me going there for awhile. Even though we have stringent rules here in the U.S.A, I'm sure some in the food industry is trying and getting away with, in certain case, some of the same kinds of things.
Thanks for dropping by Fastfreta. I'm glad you have rules in America. Best Wishes, E.
I'm laughing at the chicken picture :D
Hi! so sad when greed creeps in, some businessmen care so little about their consumers health.
this is indeed a very needed hub.thx 4 writing it
Jane - Thanks for stopping. I'm sure you want see chicken the same way again. lol. :)
Ladyeagle - Indeed, Greed is the word. Thanks for your comments. :)
Cheers loveofnight - Nice to read from you. :)
thanks for choosing this important topic.I think many of us are not aware of the food fraudsters including me.We need more chicken detectives to fight against food fraud incidents.:)
This is eye opening! Love the picture.
Lol Andromida. "Chicken Detectives"! :)
Thanks Ladybird, nice to hear from you again. :)
Lady E
This is frightening! Buyer beware!I am glad that I bless my food before I eat!
Thank you for sharing
Blessings
good knowledge
i like this hub
nice job on your hub! This stuff happens all the time in the US. I go back and forth between the USA and Vancouver BC because my husband is Canadian and I have a bookkeeping business in the US and Canada. One of my clients was an organic farmer and he talked about it all the time-food being passed off as organic - and what a joke it has become. Your articles are funny and enlightening-I look forward to reading them! Thanks for providing an educational and eye opening outlook to so many! ;-)
Hi mwatkins.
I agree with what your Client said. Not all "organic" food are organic. Thanks for your comments.
This was a clever way to bring attention to a fraudulent practice. It was both interesting and informative. did you know that some of those so-called silicone implants were made of poly urethane. It is the same chemical that is used on furniture to protect against stains and cigarette burns. Then these women were slightly agitated when they burst Did they ask what is this made of? No! Again, nice article. Feeling better.
Oh my goodness, platinumowl - that is scary to know. It's bound to seep into the skin and blood some how.
Thanks for stopping. I appreciate your comments. :)
Hi! I don't know.
I didn't understand the question either. -- Thanks
My goodness!
I knew about the waterlogged chicken, yet I didn't know of fake parmesan; that stuff is expensive as it is; I'd be unempressed to find I had bought a fake.
Most of my meals are home cookeed; I like to cook, yet even suppermarket meat is water pumped.:(
Money is the number 1 objective; outlets are becoming like America ones; quantity over quality.
Hi QueenStars
It's nice that most of your meals are home cooked - a very health option. Thanks for stopping. :)
Very good information thanks for sharing. Love the chicken picture =). Organic food is the best but not if you are being scammed into thinking it is organic.
Thanks Mih36 - good point. Sometimes, there is no evidence that "organic" is truly organic. Kind Regards.
The best thing to do is grow your own. Or purchase from local growers you can trust.
Good idea Smiling man. Healthier Option.
Have you watched, "Food Inc?" It's a documentary that my mom and I saw on PBS and we ordered it because it was so moving. I think you would find it interesting!
Thanks Hannah, I have made a note of it. Glad your stopped by. Best Wishes.
Eye catching hub title!
We are both very careful about what we buy. About 18 months we decided to sign up to an organic veg scheme. Since then we have both become much more choosey about meat, preferred to spend more and have meat less often.
Very healthy Option 2patricias. We just don't know what chemicals are in meat these days and people are getting more prone to diseases.
Thanks and Stay Healthy. :)
A chicken with big breasts. What will they think of next? Don't they understand the link between all the diseases we have no cures for and chemicals. People eat at your own risk. Great post!
Lol Giving Fairy. Important comment though.
Thanks for stopping. :)
I don't think I want chicken anymore now... Im serious that picture was just.... he I dunno... scary
Good hub - catchy title. So many toxic things in the food chain today...... all toxins and even pharmaceuticals are ending up in our rivers and oceans..... passed through from our diet to the sewage systems. We humans seem to do the dumbest things, all for greed and money. So sad.
Thank goodness there are good people like you in this world. Thanks for being you!
ps- perky is best LOL
Hi Neil
How scary is that. It's no wonder more people are getting sick and sadly, we (consumers) don't have any control over it. We just eat what we buy in the supermarket.
Glad you shared that.
It's all very well these documentaries exposing food fraud etc, but pretty soon there will be nothing safe for me to eat! I've already stopped eating sausages and kebabs and now it seems that chicken is at risk! I think ignorance might indeed be bliss...
Nice move Hunterone
It's very worrying. Half the time, we don't really know what's in our food even though they are wrapped up in very nice packages. I'm considering going part Vegetarian.
Thanks for sharing your comments.
nice hub fellow. I have started following you.
Great title! I almost thought it was a hub about something totally different. When I came to the UK I realized how good and wholesome the food was back home in Zimbabwe.Living here, I have gotten to know why. They say "the love of money is the root of all evil"
That's True Alladream - the chemicals put in our food in Europe is not good and will affect everyone at some point in their lives. Even fruits. It's so sad but what can we do? Have a farm in the back garden? lol
Thanks. Salaam.
@Lady_E. There is not much one can do unfortunately but my thinking is when the sh**t hits the fan, there will be much damage done. From GM foods to chemically drenched products-the future looks perilous in terms of health.
Even learning this makes one ill. when you think "what other alternative is there", while eating something you bought at your local supermarket digestion shuts down immediately. Can we ever go back to wholesome food without paying with an arm and a leg for it?
** Alladream - It is worrying. Very worrying. Thanks for stopping.
** Reda - Important points raised. Glad you stopped by.
Informative. Who do you trust?
Oh Debby. That's the Q. Who do we trust? I worry a lot about what I eat and where it has been. I bought some rice from a supermarket sometime ago and saw something horrible in it. I threw the whole pack away. I can't say (it might put you off rice) but it just makes me wonder how our food is handled before it gets to us...
Glad you stopped by. :)
I know just what you mean. Many people grow their own, form a coop, buy kosher, shop at trusted outlets. We can only do the best we can. Maybe you got a bad batch of rice, but most is probably fine. Blessings, Debby
Cheers Debby. :)
Thank you for sharing this important information. It is terrible what can be done with food. God Bless You Precious Heart.
Hi Stars439
Thanks for stopping. God Bless you too.
Regards to Becky.
Lolz....funny nice hub...*winks*
Thanks for stopping, Accofranco.
Wow! now that was the breast, I mean best hub ever! : )
@KDF
Lol... glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping. :)
Lady_E, food frauds are pretty common the world over. Chickens have been fed chemicals like arsenic, to make them grow faster. Milch animals are being given oxytocin injections to make them produce more milk. Vegetables are being injected with oxytocin too to make them grow big overnight. All this happens in my own country.
It's really frightening when one realises the after effects these chemicals will have in unborn children.
Businesses have lost all moral values and ethics just to make a fast buck.
There should be the severest of punishment for these culprits who play havoc with human life.
Thanks for highlighting this issue.
Voted up and useful.
Hello Rajan
Your comment is such an eye opener. I wasn't aware some other food issues (tampering with food) were happening. Scary stuff. I agree there should be some sort of law against it so people are dealt with.
Meanwhile, it looks like we might have to all have our own farms....
Thanks for stoppping.

I love that picture of the chicken breasts. LOL Scary stuff you posted here. Sheesh!
